ABOUT US
The people who built standby power are shaping what comes next. By dealers. For the industry. For the future.
The National Association of Standby Generator Dealers (NASGD) is a nonprofit, OEM-agnostic business league created to unify, strengthen, and protect the dealer community. Membership is free for all U.S. standby generator dealers because every dealer — from small independents to multi-state operators - deserves a voice, resources, and representation.
NASGD is governed, shaped, and led by dealers. Our purpose is simple:
to elevate the standby power industry through advocacy, innovation, and collaboration - ensuring backup power is recognized as essential infrastructure, not a luxury.
We provide a national platform where dealers can learn, connect, influence policy, raise industry standards, and work together to solve shared challenges. As the first independent association of its kind, NASGD exists to serve the people who keep America powered when it matters most.
